Flyers celebrate the end of the season at Helen Scott-Owens Invite!

Thank you to Rush Athletics for hosting a fun and successful meet to wrap up the 2024 season! Coach Nicole and her team know how to get the job done!
 
Even after achieving PR's the last two weeks at the Palatine Pack meet and Hinsdale Central meet, the athletes came back to achieve 35 PR's for the boys and 27 PR's for the girls! These athletes are truly amazing!
 
A few highlights:
- 12 girls competed in the 100M and everyone had a PR!
- 13 boys achieved PR's in the 800M!
- 12 boys for the 1500M!
- 12 Team Records were broken!!
- Coach’s Racewalk Relay!
 
Congratulations to the boys' teams of 9/10 and 13/14 for placing 1st in their age group and overall, 13 and over boys, placed 1st!
Congratulations to Samson and Everett for their nomination for the Helen Scott-Owens award which recognizes sportsmanship and dedication!
